Summer's Sunset

|

Fall has arrived.

Two days ago was the first time it was palpable. The day was noticeably shorter, the light a little more golden and my sweet Georgia has started to moult.

The pomegranates on my tree are ready for picking and the persimmons are whispering orange. It struck me how rich fall fruits are. They are like little balls of sunsets; summer's sunset.

All of the joy and sunshine from summer has been harnessed by nature and concentrated into these wonderful sweet spheres of life.

It is absolutely lovely that pomegranate seeds look my very own ruby mine!

Goodbye summer, you were great to me this year. Thank you for the sunshine, laughter and bounty from my garden. I can't wait to see you next year.

Welcome, Fall!!
