In the very beginning I had no idea what I wanted for a logo. I knew I didn't just want my initials RC or RCC in a fancy font. I knew I wanted some type of recognizable picture, but logos are tough because they can't be too intricate or complex. I was having a hard time coming up with something that was simple, easily recognizable, not already in the marketplace and denoted that I'm a jewelry designer/company. Our tag line is 'Be stubborn', so for a while I was thinking about a donkey, but donkey's aren't so fun (even with a bow on it's ear - I tried!).

There is a huge part of my heart that belongs in the South. I love everything about the South, the people, the land, the way of life, the houses, traditions, everything. For as long as I can remember I've loved fireflies. They are little bursts of happiness in the dark! I realized nothing would be better as a logo of a jewelry line that gives hope and strength to it's wearers (hopefully!). So the sketching began...

Gone digital!

I thought this was going to be the final product, but it was missing something:

That's it!!!

Even better if I do this to the gem!
