Mexico: police operation against trafficking circuit
Over 1,000 arrests in operation against trafficking network, and released 20 teenage girls.

Police arrested more than 1,000 people at the firm penetration channel trafficking in northern Mexico, local media reported yesterday. The company became simultaneously the release of at least 20 age girls, according to federal police.

According to the authorities arrested 500 men and 530 women accused of trafficking and compel minors, mostly teenage girls, into prostitution. The company aimed to find missing people, and unfolded mainly in Ciudad Juarez, the border with the U.S. facing in El Paso.

During the early 1990 over 400 young women were murdered in Juarez, Mexico City, where indicators of crime are higher than any other country.

According to police and Interior Ministry investigations were made at 23 bars, three hotels and many homes in the city.

In 2010, at least 59 women and young girls have disappeared in Ciudad Juarez and 48 still remaining in the state of Chihuahua, which oversees the city administration, according to a local NGO which is based on official figures.
