SELF IMPROVEMENT

This picture is one of my all time favorites. These men are clearly tired, but there is a hint of joy and boyishness in their dangling feet. They are occupied with their lunch, catching up with friends, sharing a cigarette and taking swigs of the good stuff(wink wink!). They are too busy to be afraid of falling.

Fear is a natural emotion, and one that is important for our survival, but sometimes it totally gets in the way! What if these men were afraid to fall? Maybe some of them acctually were afraid of heights, but decided it was more important to get the job done than to surrender to their fear. The Empire State Building couldn't build itself!

Fear will always be in life (which is unfourtunate becuase it rarely goes with my outfit). My hope, and reason for starting my jewelry line, is that by accepting fear, we are not held back by it, and by embracing it, it wont stop us from building our Empire State Building.
